| We Have Moved Premises | |

After more than 38 years
being located at 849 London Road we have decided to move to a more
purpose built warehouse based in Progress Road. There have been many
good times at London Road but we hope that the new premises will allow
use to be more efficient and give our customers a better service. |

| London Road Memories | |
| S.E. Apex
opened its doors for trading in 1971 from the London Road site. Over
the years the converted residential site grew into every nook and cranny
packing as much stock into it as possible. Around the late eighties
a computer system was introduced using a revolutionary barcode
scanner, the days of the old manual invoice pad were gone. For those
of you that remember John Stevens the then Warehouse Manager and all
the staff would meticulously note down every item, its price and a
subtotal making sure that all stock was booked out correctly. As
time has passed the foot traffic has reduced while the van delivery
service increased. Now in the naughties we trying to move with the
time once more by giving our customer the online alternative and up

Website Our website was originally launched in 2001 has been long over due a revamp. We have tried to listen to the feedback of our current customer base and hope that the changes will make this a real asset to our customers. We are always looking for ways to improve our service any feedback you have no matter how small, negative or positive is always gratefully received. New Features Although our website may not be the prettiest looking we have strived to make it both functional and easy to use. The features we have added should help ordering and identifying products easier. Build your own website We are also trying to create new service that offers our customers the opportunity to use our core website data to create their own website. This means for a minimal cost customers can have their own web and email addresses that are fed directly from our systems. To find out more about this service simply logon and click the build a website link. Product Categories All products have now been categorised so that searching is more efficient , this means that finding the right product or an alternative is quicker and easier. Product Images We have tried to source as many images for our products as possible, although this is not 100% complete this functionality should give customers a quick way of making sure they have ordered the correct product. Account Tools The Account Tools section is available on the menu path once a customer has logged on. This facility allows an account holder to customise their options when using the website, for example:- - Remove thumbnail images to improve the speed of searches - Manage your inclusion in the Stockist search - Control your favourite list Stockist Search The Stockist search can be run by anyone that visits the S.E. Apex website. This facility allows the general public to search for stockists of our products in their local area. Account holders can control whether they are included in this search from within the Account Tools section. |
